The Big Payback

The Big Payback

TODAY IS THE DAY!! The Big Payback is back again this year thanks to the Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee.

Today, we have an opportunity to give back to the nonprofit community and we would appreciate you thinking of YLC when giving!

As a YLC alum or friend, I’m sure you are proud that YLC has been replenishing the nonprofit volunteer base with trained and dedicated young professionals for 34 years and that you are a part of it!

Please join us today by giving to YLC!

Muscular Dystrophy Association – Committee Members Wanted

Muscular Dystrophy Association – Committee Members Wanted

COMMITTEE MEMBERS WANTED: Muscular Dystrophy Association is looking for steering committee members for its Nashville Muscle Team Gala on October 8 at Musicians Hall of Fame. Local and national athletes, celebrities, musicians and military personnel will be paired with MDA’s Most Valuable Players (MVPs) — local children and adults living with neuromuscular disease. Guests will enjoy fun and interactive events, fine food, live and silent auctions and the opportunity to mix and mingle with local celebrities and business leaders. To make this night a success, steering committee members will attend monthly or bi-monthly meetings in person or by phone; secure a minimum of $10,000 in sponsorships or program ad sales; share a list of contacts for sending invitations to the gala; follow up on initial outreach through emails, phone calls and face-to-face; and assist with procurement of silent auction items or wine/liquor as possible. Proceeds from the event help fuel progress in MDA’s mission to save and improve the lives of kids and adults with muscular dystrophy, ALS and related diseases that take away physical strength, independence and life. If interested in serving on the steering committee, contact Nashville development director Milan Whatley at or 615-832-5005.
